Over the course of my 19 year professional hockey career, I have suffered from a multitude of dental injuries. These injuries placed me in a dentist’s chair for countless hours and took my pre-existing dental anxiety to new levels.

As part of my original dental reconstruction I had been fitted with multiple partial implants. However, when I retired from hockey, I was surprised to learn that the partials would not suffice as they would inhibit me from maintaining healthy bone structure. At that point I was referred and introduced to Dr. Desai. Her patient mannerism and the clarity of her professional advice immediately put me at ease. After our initial meetings, I was confident that she clearly understood my needs, and that she genuinely cared for my dental health.

After two years of dental work, Dr. Desai has successfully reconstructed my mouth through five permanent implants.
